Full-Day: 6AM-6PM
Half Day: 8:30AM – 12:30PM
GSEC uses Frog Street Three’s, a curriculum approved by the Maryland State Department of Education. This comprehensive program helps prepare children for kindergarten by supporting growth in all developmental areas. Children learn through stories, music, movement, hands-on exploration, and multisensory experiences. Literacy, math, science, social studies, creative arts, and social-emotional skills are all woven into daily learning. Our program builds a community of curious children, dedicated teachers, and supportive parents who explore and grow together—ready to leap into learning!
Alphabet Time – Daily practice with letter sounds, recognition, print awareness, and oral language, with regular review of all ABCs.
Book Time – Builds listening and language skills through fiction and non-fiction, while introducing classic stories and cultural literacy.
Center Time / Small Groups – Hands-on learning through guided play and exploration.
Content Area – Social studies, science, math, and music woven into each day’s theme, vocabulary, and stories.
